Our client is one of Austria's leading corporate and investment banks, with a presence in Central and Eastern Europe. In its Sustainable and Public Finance area, the bank runs its own solution for managing cover pools for covered bonds. The work takes place in a multicultural team in close cooperation with the business department.

Your Tasks

Development of web application software for a cover pool management solution in Sustainable and Public Finance.

Maintenance and enhancement of a long-established Java enterprise application.

Writing well-designed, documented and testable code.

Development of unit and integration tests.

Taking main development responsibility for the product.

Close cooperation with the business department to clarify requirements.

Working with CI/CD and version control (Gradle, SVN, Git).
Requirements
-
At least 7 years of hands-on development experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate, SQL, SOAP and JAXB.

Experience with web technologies such as JavaScript, ideally Apache Cocoon.

Sound experience with CI/CD and source code management (Gradle, SVN, Git).

Experience maintaining long-established enterprise applications.

Experience developing unit and integration tests.

Basic knowledge of banking, ideally cover pool management, and a demonstrable interest in banking.

Proactive, team-oriented and self-reliant way of working.

Very good communication skills in a multicultural environment. Good English, German is an advantage.
