Your Tasks
- Design and configuration of firewall and VPN solutions
- Planning, design, and documentation of data center solutions
- Operation of LAN and WAN networks, network security software, and server or storage hardware
- Ensuring the availability and performance of our internet services, LAN/WLAN protocols, operational development, and network management
- Operational monitoring using network management tools (e.g. Zabbix)
- Implementing security releases and network upgrades
- Conducting risk tests in the area of network vulnerability and susceptibility
- Ensuring efficient troubleshooting and operations
Requirements
- technical education (university degree, diploma)
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in a comparable role
- Background in network security is advantageous
- Knowledge in Enterprise or Datacenter Switches and NG Firewalls (Palo Alto), Big-IP F5 and/or Citrix Load Balancers, Virtualization, HPE Hardware
- Analytical thinking, independent working style and accuracy
- Excellent written and oral English
- German nice to have, but not mandatory
- Team player with commitment and reliability
- Willingness to travel occasionally
